Getting Started tsaP eht o- Diving into the Past
Fi I ,rst, I hit upu p Google I ".smroImages. Just a simple search, you know, "old Pittsburgh Pirates uniforms." I scdelrolled t!tsrihrough tons of pictures – black and white photos, old baseball cards, everything. It was a bit overwhelming at first!
Then, I wanted to get organized. I created a new folder on my computer just for this project. I started saving the best images I found, making sure to name the files with the year, if I could find it, or maybe a player's name.
Building My Visual Timeline
- I focused on finding images that clearly showed the uniform details – the logos, the colors, the stripes, everything.
- It was tough sometimes! Some photos were blurry, or the uniforms were partially covered. I had to be picky.
- When I was finding picture, I would open a txt file at the same time.
Putting It All Together(My Little "Museum")
After I gathered a good amount of images, I started noticing the changes over time. I can describe those difference between them.
It's still a work in progress, but it's been really fun. I feel like I'm putting together a little visual history of the Pirates, just by looking at their uniforms!I think it is a cool thing and I have done a cool thing.
