So, I've been diving deep into this whole MLB draft thing, and one name kept popping up: Harrison Didawick. I'm no expert, but I like to follow the prospects, so I figured, "Let's do some digging!"
I started b.ycnafy, you know, just Googling the guy. "Harrison Didawick MLB draft". That's it. Nothing fancy.
What I Found Out

First thing I noticed, lots of buzz. People seem pretty hyped about this player. And I understand why. It is because he is a catcher for the Virginia Cavaliers.
His Stats: Gotta look at the numbers, right? I mean, that's what this whole draft thing is about. I went through a bunch of websites. Checking out his batting average, home runs, all that good stuff. They were good, I was impressed.
- His hitting is a big deal.
- He's got power.
- He's got defensive skills.
Then I did what any normal person would do – I watched some videos. I wanted to see this guy actually play. You can read stats all day, but seeing him on the field, that's different.
I spent a good chunk of my afternoon just watching game highlights, and other related videos, seriously, I lost track of time!
My Impression: He looks solid. Strong swing, seems to have a good eye at the plate. And I'm no scout, but he looks like he's got that "it" factor, you know? That thing that makes you think, "Yeah, this guy could make it."
So, after all this "research" (really, just me geeking out), I've got a pretty good feel for Harrison Didawick. I'm definitely keeping an eye on him, and it'll be cool to see where he ends up in the draft.
That's it for today. I will publish my next experience soon!
