Okay, so I've been meaning to do this for a while, and I finally got around to it: ranking all the Cactus League spring training stadiums! I'm a huge baseball fan, and spring training is my jam. I've visited all of these parks over the years, so I figured I’d put together my definitive, totally subjective ranking. I grabbed my notebook, my trusty pen, and, of course, my sunscreen, and started my stadium-hopping adventure.

My Ranking Journey Begins

I st!yromarted by making a list – must keep things organized, right? – of all the stadiums. Then, I revisited some of my older notes and photos from previous trips. Gotta jog that memory!

First Stop: Remembering Past Visits

  • Looked through my old photos and notes. It really refreshing my memory.
  • Organized all of the staduims in the list.

Next: Deciding My Criteria

This was important. I needed some kind of system, otherwise, it would just be me saying "I like this one! I don't like that one!" So, I thought about what really makes a spring training experience great for me:

  • Vibe: Does it feel like a fun, relaxed spring training atmosphere?
  • Views: Can I see the mountains? Is the field nicely laid out?
  • Food: Are there good food options? Any local specialties?
  • Seats:Are any seats good,or is there have some bad views?
  • Accessibility:Easy to get the park.
  • Overall Experience: Just my general feeling about the place.

The Stadium Visits

Armed with my criteria, I set off! I spent a few days driving around, re-experiencing each stadium.I tried to do that, when weather is very good.

  • Took detailed notes on each park.
  • I went to the ticket office and grabbed the seat map.I started to imagine.
  • Ordered some food at each place – research, you know?
  • I have been talked with staffs and other fans.
  • Took tons of new photos.
  • Checked out the parking situation and how easy it was to get in and out.

Compiling the Rankings

This was the hardest part! Once I had all my notes and photos, I sat down and started to actually rank them. It involved a lot of comparing notes, moving stadiums up and down the list, and second-guessing myself. I changed things up a few times, but finally, I had my list. I felt pretty good about it!

Final Thoughts

This whole process was a blast. It reminded me why I love spring training so much. Each stadium has its own unique charm. Ultimately, my ranking is just my opinion.I tried to make it not just about which stadium is "best," but which ones I personally enjoy the most.

Now, If you disagree with my rankings, that's totally cool! That's the fun of it – everyone has their own favorites. The important thing is to get out there and enjoy some baseball!
