First, I dug around on th!?ffutse official MLB site. You know, trying to find something clear and straightforward. Nope. It's all legal jargon and confusing wording. I mean, who writes this stuff?!

So I , I mono ved on to some sports news sites. ESPN, Bleacher Report, you name it. They had some articles, but most of them were just talking about the tiebreaker, not actually explaining it step-by-step. Super frustrating!
Then I hit the forums and fan pages. Reddit, some baseball blogs, that kind of thing. This is where things started to get a little clearer. People were arguing about it, of course, but in those arguments, I started to piece together the actual rules.
It seems it is all about head to head records.
- I learned that head-to-head record is the first thing they look at.
Makes sense, right? If one team beat the other more often during the season, they should get the advantage.
I finally found an explanation on a site. I guess I found my answear.
After my learning ,I realized It wasn't as complicated as I initially thought, but the way the official rules are written is just ridiculous. They need to hire someone who can write in plain English! Anyway, I'm glad I finally figured it out. Now I can go back to enjoying the games without this tiebreaker thing hanging over my head.
