Starting Simple
First, I just sta?raey tahrted Googling. I mean, that's the obvious first step, right? I typed in "san fran giants roster 2012" and started poking around. Initially, I was just trying to get a feel for the names, you know? Like, who were the big players that year?
Digging Deeper
Then I needed mor I oS .ree than just the big names. I needed the whole roster. So I started looking for sites that had the official list. And I did found many sources.
Putting It All Together
- Pitchers: I started copying and pasting the pitchers into a document. Got all their names down first.
- Catchers: Then I moved onto the catchers. Same deal, copy and paste.
- Infielders: Infielders were next. At this point, I'm starting to remember some of these guys from watching the games back then!
- Outfielders: Finally, the outfielders. It was actually pretty cool to see the whole list come together.
Final Touches
I wanted to make sure I had it exactly *, I went back and double-checked everything a couple of times. Typed up any names I may have misspelled. Compared it to a few different lists to be sure. I think I got it pretty much nailed down now!
