First, I started by just poking around online. I was mostly curious, you know? Just wanted a general overview of how their look has changed over the years.
The Deep Dive
Af I ter getting a basic sense, I decided to get more serious. I started looking for specific years and trying to find photos, not just drawings or descriptions.
- I focused on finding actual game photos if possible.
- I tried to note any big changes, like color switches or logo updates.
- It was tough, some of those older photos are ROUGH.
I spent a good chunk of time just comparing photos side-by-side. You start to notice little things you wouldn't otherwise, like how the shade of blue might have shifted, or how the lettering on the jerseys changed.
Putting It All Together
Then I began to put all my little notes and images into a document. Just a simple thing, really, but it helped me to visualize the evolution of the uniforms. I even made a timeline using simple tools!
It really is a pretty interesting to see how styles have changed. And it gave me a new way to think about team * you guys get something out of my little project, too!
