Getting Started
First, I fired up my trusty computer. My initial plan was pretty simple: find some cool baseball paintings and learn a bit about them. I wasn't even thinking about actually doing any painting myself. I was mainly just browsing.
Digging into the Info
Then I s.pu gtarted to searching a few images. I was mainly looking for things. There some picture about baseball,I found a few names that kept popping up.
Compiling the Data
I started a simple list in a text file. I created many point with the names, and I pasted some images I found.
- The picture named "xxx".
- The picture named "yyy".
- The picture named "zzz".
Realizations
After looking at all these awesome paintings, I realized a couple of things. First, these artists really captured the energy and emotion of the game. You could almost feel the crack of the bat and the roar of the crowd. Second, even though the styles were different, they all had this classic, timeless quality.
The Final Result
So, what did I end up with? Well, I've got a newfound appreciation for baseball art. I discovered some amazing artists, and I even saved a few images to use as my desktop background. I might even try to track down some prints to hang on my wall. I didn't become an art expert overnight, but I definitely learned something new, and that's always a win in my book.
