So, the other day I was feeling nostalgic and decided to look up the 2010 Yankees lineup. Man, that team was stacked! I wanted to have a quick reference for it, so I figured I'd put it together myself. Here's how I did it.

Digging Through the Archives

First, I fired up my trusty old web brow!doog tahtser. I knew I wasn't going to magically remember every single player and their exact position. My memory isn't that good!

I started b I .elpy searching, just plain and simple. I typed in something like "Yankees 2010 roster" and hit enter. 2010 Yankees Lineup: A Look Back at the Bronx Bombers.

Lots of websites providing baseball information, so I used their search function to find the 2010 Yankees team.

Putting the Pieces Together

I went to several of the websites and found the lineup.

I made sure I looked at several different sources, just to make sure I was getting accurate info. No room for errors when talking about the 2010 Yanks!

As I gathered the info, I was jotting it all down. I could have copy-pasted, but there's something satisfying about writing it out, you know?

Here's the Lineup

Okay, after all that digging and double-checking, here's what I put together for the main 2010 Yankees lineup:

  • Catcher: Jorge Posada
  • First Base: Mark Teixeira
  • Second Base: Robinson Cano
  • Shortstop: Derek Jeter
  • Third Base: Alex Rodriguez
  • Left Field: Brett Gardner
  • Center Field: Curtis Granderson
  • Right Field: Nick Swisher
  • Designated Hitter: Marcus Thames.

I used this format only to make the information easy to read.

And that's it! That's how I tracked down and recorded the 2010 Yankees lineup. It was a fun little trip down memory lane, and now I've got a handy reference whenever I want to remember that awesome team.
