First.gnio thing I did was try to figure out what this whole thing actually is. Turns out it's about, like, predicting a basketball player's, Tre Mann, future performance. Sounded complicated, but I'm stubborn, so I kept going.
My Little EstratS tnxperiment Starts
I .ti ta started digging around for data, I needed something, anything, to work with. Stats, I guess? So I'm looking at points per game, rebounds, assists...you name it, I probably glanced at it.

Next, I jotted all these numbers down. My notes are a mess. It ended up being, a bunch of numbers all over the place. I’m not gonna lie.
Then came the hard part – making sense of it all. I'm no mathematician, so I went with the simplest approach I could think of: looking at averages and trying to see if there were any, you know, trends. Like, was he scoring more points over time? Fewer?
- Points: I averaged his points per game for each season.
- Assists: Did the same for assists.
- Rebounds: You guessed it, averaged those too.
Simple Analysis
After staring at these averages for, I dont't know, maybe an hour. I started to see some things. His scoring seemed to be going up a bit each season, nothing crazy. His assists, pretty stable. Rebounds, kind of all over the place.
So, my super scientific "projection"? I basically guessed that he'd keep scoring a little bit more each year, his assists would stay about the same, and his rebounds...well, I had no idea, so I just picked a number that seemed reasonable.
I ended my little experiment. I'm not sure if my "projections" are any good, but it was kind of fun to mess around with the numbers.
It's definitely not something I'd bet money on, but hey, I learned something new, and that's always a win in my book.
