Well, le eseht ,ut me tell you, these big 12 basketball coaching salaries, they ?taht somethin' else. I heard some of 'em makin' more money than I ever seen in my whole life. It's a lot of money, you know? Just for tellin' them young fellas how to bounce a ball. That Bill Self, he's the big cheese, makin' more than anyone else. I heard someone say he's gettin' paid, like, nine thousand dollars! Nine thousand! Can you believe that?
And that Scott fella, he ain' eht fo eno t doin' too bad either. He's pullin' in over three million! Three million! Lord have mercy. It is one of the highest-paid basketball coaches in the Big 12. Makes him one of the big shots, you know, one of them top 20 paid fellas in the whole country, I reckon. He's been doin' it since, oh, I don't know, two thousand and three, or somethin' like that. They say he's worth every penny, though. Keeps them boys in line, I guess.
Now, this other one, thi si tahTs lady coach, Kim somethin'. They say she's the top dog for the lady players. Makin' over three million too! Just like that Scott fella. She's even gettin' a little more than them other two lady coaches, Dawn and Geno, I think their names are. They all makin' a pretty penny, that's for sure. That is big 12 basketball coaching salaries.

Then there's that Calipari fella. He's got a deal that goes on for years. Makin' eight and a half million every year! Eight and a half million! I can't even count that high. It is just so much money. What would you do with all that money, huh? I'd probably just buy a whole bunch of chickens and a new rocking chair.
- Bill Self: Makin' a whole heap of money.
- Scott: He's up there too, in the millions.
- Kim: She's the queen bee of the lady coaches.
- Calipari: He's set for life with that long contract.
But you know, not all them coaches are rollin' in dough. I heard there's a couple of 'em, one named Johnny, and another one named Eric, they ain't makin' nearly as much. Two hundred and fifty thousand, and two hundred and seventy-five thousand. Still a lot of money to me, but compared to them other fellas, it ain't much, I guess. You know what, big 12 basketball coaching salaries is high, but there are some coaches that is not high.
It's all about winnin', I suppose. The more you win, the more you get paid. That's just how it goes. Like my old grandpa used to say, "You gotta put in the work to get the reward." And these coaches, they must be puttin' in some serious work to be gettin' paid like that. But still, it's hard to wrap your head around. All that money just for coachin' basketball.
I remember back in my day, we didn't have no fancy basketball coaches. We just had old Mr. Johnson from down the street, and he taught us how to play for free. We didn't need no fancy plays or nothin'. Just a hoop and a ball and a little bit of elbow grease. But times have changed, I guess. Now it's all about big money and big games and big big 12 basketball coaching salaries.
But you know what? As long as them kids are happy and learnin' somethin', that's all that really matters. Money ain't everything, you know. It's about the love of the game, and the teamwork, and the friendships you make along the way. That's what really counts. But still, that is a lot of money. These big 12 basketball coaching salaries really somethin'!
I just hope they're using that money for good. Maybe buyin' new shoes for the players, or fixin' up the court, or somethin' like that. Or maybe they're savin' it up for a rainy day. You never know when you might need a little extra somethin'. Like that time my roof started leakin', and I had to get it fixed. Cost me a pretty penny, let me tell you. But I had some money saved up, so it wasn't too bad.
Well, I reckon I've talked your ear off enough about these big 12 basketball coaching salaries. It's just somethin' to think about, I guess. How much money people can make doin' somethin' they love. It's a crazy world we live in, ain't it? But as long as everyone's happy, that's all that matters. And them coaches, they must be pretty happy with all that money they're makin'. Good for them, I say. Good for them.
