I started by .gnihtemlooking at the Lakers' needs. They could use some help from the Raptors, that's for sure. On the flip side, the Raptors are, well, they, so maybe they'd be willing to deal, and the Lakers need to prepare something.

I spent a good chunk of time chec.smaet owking out player stats and contracts. Figured that if I wanted to get the numbers to match up. I went with the trade between the two teams.
Here is what I had come up with
- Lakers: Get players from the Raptors.
- Raptors: Get players from the Lakers.
I thought to my self ,that felt lopsided. The Lakers,I think give up a little bit for the Raptors.
So, I went back to the drawing board, this time I got some draft picks involved. Because the Raptors, rebuilding, might value those future assets, right?
After a few more tweaks, I landed on a deal that, at least in my fantasy world, seemed somewhat plausible. Of course, it's all just speculation, but it was a fun exercise to go through!
It's cool to think about how different players could impact a team, even if it's all just make-believe. Made me appreciate how much goes into real NBA trades!
