Diving into Recent Performance
Firs I ,tt things first, I checked out how both teams have been playing lately. Not just wins and losses, but how they've been winning or losing.
- Were they blowing teams out?
- Squeaking by in close games?
- Getting crushed?

I looked at their last 5-10 games to get a good feel for their current form.
Head-to-Head Matchups
Next, I focused on the history between these two teams. It is not mentioned which team is, so let's use "opponent team" as a placeholder.
- How have they played against each other this season?
- Any significant wins or losses?
- Any patterns or trends?
Sometimes, one team just has another team's number, regardless of overall record. so I tried my best to collect this data and get conclusion.
Injury Reports - Who's In, Who's Out?
This is HUGE. I scoured the injury reports. A key player being out can totally change the dynamic of a game. I made sure to check right up until close to game time, because sometimes those "game-time decisions" can really swing things.
Home vs. Away
Simple, but important. I checked to see where the game is being played. Home-court advantage is a real thing, especially in basketball, I found out whether the cavs is at home, or the "opponent team".
Putting It All Together
After gathering all that info, It's still hard to make a conclusion, because there is no exact data shows tonight which team cavs is against. So I digested it all. I weighed the factors, considered the matchups, and formed my prediction based on the most likely outcome, Given all the data. Also I will be flexible to change and adjust my prediction!
