Alright, so I've been wanting to get my hands on one of those San Antonio Spurs camouflage jerseys for a while now. I'm a huge Spurs fan, and I also like, you know, the whole military appreciation thing they do. So, I finally decided to do it. I decided to go and try get one.
First, I just went online to a couple of the normal places I use that sells sports stuff. I scrolled through a bunch of stuff, and saw some camo jerseys, but none that I like.
The Hunt Begins
So, I started out, simple search. Just typed it in, and bam! A ton of options popped up.
- Some were clearly fake. You know, the ones with the weird spacing on the letters and the colors that are, like, way off? Yeah, skipped those.
- Then there were the "official" ones, but they were either super expensive or totally out of my size. Seriously, who wears a XXXL?
- I even saw some vintage ones, which were kinda cool, but also kinda…worn. And not in a good way.
I spent a good hour just clicking around, getting more and more frustrated. I almost gave up, to be honest.
Digging Deeper
But then I thought, "No, I'm gonna find this thing." I really really want to find this jersey. I'm such a big fan!
So I started digging a little deeper. I went to some Spurs fan forums, places where real die-hards hang out. I figured they'd know where to find the good stuff, and maybe, just maybe, somebody was selling one second-hand.
I posted a question asking if anyone knew where I could find a decent camo jersey, and waited. I started looking at it everyday to see if there are any replys. I really thought no one would get back to me, but some people replied! One dude was so friendly and helpful!
Success! (Maybe?)
A couple of people actually responded! One guy said he had one he might be willing to sell, but he needed to check the size. Another person suggested a local shop that sometimes gets them in. I felt like I was finally getting somewhere and emailed the guy straight away.
I'm still waiting to hear back from the guy about the size, but I'm feeling optimistic. And I'm definitely going to check out that local shop this weekend. I'll check back in with you all soon!
Fingers crossed, I'll finally have my Spurs camo jersey soon! Wish me luck!
