First, I looked up Vassell's stats.?thgir ,e You know, points per game, rebounds, assists, all that jazz. Gotta know what he brings to the table, right?

Then, I stgnimrotsniarted brainstorming teams that might need a player like him. I figured a team needing a young, scoring wing would be the most likely. I checked out some team rosters and their current standings. Who's struggling? Who needs a boost?
What I did next
- I went through some trade machine. Input some names. See some result.
- I tried many different combinations. For example, I put player A and B and a draft pick.
- I check the salary cap.
Honestly, I was all over the place! I swapped players, added draft picks, and tried to make the salaries work. Most of the trades I came up with were probably ridiculous, but it was fun to play GM for a few hours.
I even tried to think about what the Spurs would want in return. Draft picks? Young prospects? A veteran to help them win now? I jotted down some notes on each possibility.
After all that, I didn't come up with any groundbreaking trade scenarios. But, I definitely learned a lot more about Vassell, the Spurs, and the whole trade process. And I had a good time doing it!
