Then, I checked out their head-to-head record. How have these two teams done when they've played each other in the past? Sometimes one team just has the other's number, no matter what the overall records are.
Injuries Report
Looked at the injury reports. This is HUGE. If a star player is out, that can totally change the game. Gotta know who's playing and who's on the bench.
Home and Away Records

- Some teams play way better at home, while others are road warriors.
Offensive and Defensive Stats
Dig into some basic offensive and defensive stats.
Things like points per game, rebounds, assists – the usual suspects.
Just to see where each team is strong and where they might be weak.
Form My Prediction
Finally, after going through all of that, I kind of just went with my gut. There are a million other things that could be considered, I am sure, but honestly, sometimes it just comes down to a feeling. So that is all I have done for my prediction.
