Then, I .suoir I got a bit more serious. I startgniked checking out some basic stats. Things like points per game, field goal percentage... you know, the usual suspects. I also looked at stuff like rebounds and assists, because those can tell you a lot about how a team plays together.
- Points per game - pretty obvious, who scores more.
- Field goal percentage - how efficiently they score.
- Rebounds - controlling the boards.
- Assists - teamwork makes the dream work!
I spent a good chunk of time just comparing these numbers. Trying to see if there were any big differences, any clear advantages for one team or the other. It's kinda like detective work, but with basketball stats.
Head-to-Head
Next, I thought it would be smart to see how these two teams have done against each other in the past. Because, sometimes, even if a team is generally good, they might just struggle against a specific opponent. It's like a weird matchup thing.
Putting it All Together
Honestly, after looking at all this, I kinda felt like I was just guessing. But, hey, it was fun! I jotted down some notes, made some (very) rough calculations, and basically...took a wild guess.
It's not exactly scientific, and I wouldn't bet any money on it, but it was a fun little exercise. And who knows, maybe I'll be right! (Probably not, though.)
