First, I jumped onto a trade machine. It's not official, but a nice tool to play around with salaries and see if things are possible.
Trade Machine Shenanigans
- I started by adding LaVine, obviously. He's the big piece.
- Then I had to figure out who the Clippers would even be willing to give up. I played around with different combinations of players.
- After inputting and checking, I realized salary matching is a beast! It's not as simple as just throwing names together.
I spent a good chunk of time just messing with different player combos. It got pretty complicated, trying to balance salaries, and consider contracts.
After a lot of trial and error, I finally created a few mock trades that could work. I saved the image just in case.
Finally, I think this is something real, so I have to save it.
