Then, I hit up the Raptors and Pelicans fan forums. I wanted to see what the fans were saying, get a feel for the general vibe. Let me tell you, there were some STRONG opinions on both sides! Some people were hyped, some were totally against it. It was a real mixed bag.
After that, I tried to piece together some potential trade scenarios. Like, what players could the Raptors realistically offer? What would the Pelicans be looking for in return? It was like a complicated puzzle, trying to figure out the financial stuff and how the players would fit together.
