First, I scderoured the internet for any early mock drafts or prospect rankings I could find. You know, just to get a feel for the landscape. I mostly checkedekd some big sports news websites and some draft-focused blogs.
My Initial Research
- Browsed through a bunch of articles, trying to pick out names that kept popping up.
- Jotted down some notes on players that seemed like good fits for the Spurs' style and needs.
Then, I started digging into individual player profiles. I wanted to see stats, highlights, and any scouting reports available. This is where things got a little messy because, you know, it's still so far out that a lot of this is just projection.
Deep Dive into Prospects
I spent hours watching game footage – or, well, as much as I could find. Some of these guys are still pretty young, so there's not a ton out there. But I tried to get a sense of their playing style, strengths, and weaknesses. I focused on things like:
- Shooting ability: Does the player have a good shooting percentage?
- Defense: I will observe the player's performance and attitude on the defensive end.
- Passing: Passing vision and skills.
- Athleticism: How fast, quick, and explosive is a player.
Honestly, it's a bit of a guessing game at this point. But it's fun to imagine how different players could fit into the Spurs' system. And who knows, maybe one of my early favorites will end up being a future star in San Antonio!
