Getting StardetratSted
Fir I ,st, I started by just looking at the rosters. Summer League rosters can be super unpredictable, with a mix of rookies, second-year players, and guys just trying to make a name for themselves. It's not like you can rely solely on past NBA performance.
I .thtry to find any available information that I can find. Then, I will read it again to make sure I understood it right.
Digging)oT g into Stats (or Trying To)

Next, I tried to find some stats. Summer League stats aren't always easy to come by in a neat, organized package. You gotta do some digging! I scoured a few different websites, looking for box scores from previous games, player profiles, anything that could give me a hint.
- Look up any avaiable data.
- Check the news to konw the game's date.
- If I can, I will watch the game to make sure my data is correct.
It's tough because some guys might have played really well in one game and then barely played in the next. So, you have to take everything with a grain of salt. The goal is to make a guess.
Watching Some Highlights
Of course, I had to watch some highlights! Stats only tell you part of the story. I wanted to see how these guys actually looked on the court. Were they aggressive? Did they seem to have good chemistry with their teammates? You can pick up on some of that stuff from watching game footage, even if it's just short clips.
Making the Prediction
After all that "research," I finally felt ready to make a prediction. It's not going to be a scientific, perfectly-calculated prediction, but that's part of the fun. Based on my view, and what I watched. I chose a team to win.
The Follow-Up
Now, I'm going to sit back and watch the game! It's always interesting to see how my "armchair analysis" compares to what actually happens on the court. Even if my prediction is way off, it's a good way to learn more about the young players and get a feel for what the future might hold.
So, that's my process. It's a mix of data digging, a little bit of guesswork, and just enjoying some basketball. I definitely wouldn't put any money on my predictions, but it's a fun way to engage with the Summer League!
