First, I checked out the official Celtics store online. I wanted to see the "official" photos and get a good sense of the design, the colors, the whole shebang. I was trying to avoid all the blurry, fan-taken pictures floating around. You know how it is – sometimes those don't really do the jersey justice.
The detn I started browgnissing through some fan forums and social media. I wanted to get a feel for what other people were saying. Were they loving the new look? Hating it? Was there some hidden detail I was missing? The internet, as always, had a LOT of opinions.
After that, I compared the new designs to the older ones. I pulled up some pictures of the classic Celtics jerseys – the iconic green and white, the simple designs. I wanted to see how much had changed, and whether the new ones still felt "Celtics," you know?
- The Green: I noticed the shade of green seemed a little different. It was a bit…brighter, maybe? I wasn't sure if I liked it at first.
- The Font: The lettering looked a little different too. I think they tweaked the font a bit, made it a little more modern.
- The Details: I spotted some small details, like a different pattern on the side panels, that I hadn't noticed before.
Finally, I decided. after looking at the jersey, and taking into consideration what other people had to say. To go ahead and get one for myself, I wanted to see it in person, try it on, and really get a feel for it.
My last step was get it, so I ordered a jersey! I'm still waiting for it to arrive, but I'm excited to check it out up close and personal. I'll probably post an update once I get my hands on it.
