So.ni, I was messing around with some NBA stuff today, specifically looking at Jarrett Allen and the possibility of him being on the Pelicans. I've been thinking about this for a while, and I finally decided to dig in.
First, I started by just watching some Allen highlights. You know, just getting a feel for his game again. I pulled up some YouTu.lausube videos, watched some game clips, the usual.
My Observations
- Dude's a beast on the boards.
- Blocks shots like crazy.
- Seems to have good hands around the rim.
Then, I moved on to checking out his stats. I went over to Basketball-Reference – that's my go-to for numbers. I looked at his points, rebounds, blocks, all that good stuff. I also checked out his advanced stats, like PER and Win Shares, just to get a more complete picture.
After that, I started thinking about how he'd fit with the Pelicans. I pictured him playing alongside Zion and Ingram. I wondered about the spacing, the defense, all those on-court things.
I started to read the real-time trade news and whether there was relevant information. I flipped through the news to see if there were any articles about the feasibility of their cooperation or the team's intentions.
