Fi.egats erst thing I did was dig up everything I could find on Addison. Turns out, she's a forward-center, stands tall at 6'4" (that's 193cm for us metric folks). Her hometown's Aurora, and she plays for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Good stuff to know, you know, setting the stage.

Then came the real work. I started logging my own weight every day, first thing in the morning, after, uh, taking care of business, but before eating anything. I even started noting down my height. Kind of felt silly measuring myself again, but hey, had to have a baseline, right?
I tried matching my workouts to what I imagined a college basketball player's regimen would be. Lots of running, some weight training, focusing on core strength. Man, it was tough. I was aiming for that lean, strong build, you know, the kind that can hold its own on the court. Didn't just want to lose weight, wanted to gain muscle, too.
After a few weeks of this, I hopped back on the scale. Drumroll, please... I hadn't magically transformed into a 6'4" basketball star, surprise, surprise. But, I had dropped a few pounds and felt, I don't know, tighter? More solid? Definitely could run longer without feeling like my lungs were going to explode.
- Step 1: Looked up Addison O'Grady's stats. Found out she's 6'4", 193cm, a forward-center for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
- Step 2: Started tracking my own weight daily, and even measured my height again. Felt a bit goofy, but necessary.
- Step 3: Tried to tailor my workouts to what I guessed a college basketball player's routine would be. Running, weights, core work. Hard stuff.
- Step 4: Checked my progress after a few weeks. Lost some weight, felt stronger, better endurance.
The Results
So, yeah, this whole thing was less about becoming Addison O'Grady 2.0 and more about pushing myself, using a real athlete's stats as a benchmark. It was a good experiment. Showed me that I could make progress, even if it wasn't as dramatic as I might have secretly hoped. I'm gonna keep at it, tweaking things here and there. Maybe I won't be playing for the Hawkeyes anytime soon, but hey, a guy can dream, right? And at least I'll be in better shape while doing it. And who knows, I might even add a few more players to compare and improve. This is really fun and exciting.
