First, I , I grabbed some I .data. I lodekoked at past games, you know, scores, who won, who lost, all that basic stuff. I just poked around online, found some sports stats websites, and jotted d.kcaown the numbers. Nothing fancy, just a simple notepad to keep track.
Digging into the Teams
- I checked out FIU's recent performance. How many games have they won? How many have they lost? What's their average score? Same thing with New Mexico State.
- Then I compared their records. Who's been doing better overall this season? Are there any common opponents they both played? That can be a good indicator.
- I was curious to see how they match up by checking the individual performace of FIU and New Mexico State to see what I might expect.

After gathering all this, I kind of eyeballed it. No complex formulas or anything. I just thought, "Okay, based on what I see here, FIU has been struggling a bit, while New Mexico State has been doing... okay, maybe a little better."
I considered things like, "Is one team really strong on offense but weak on defense?" Stuff like that helps get a feel for how the game might go.
Finally, I just made a guess. It's all just for fun, remember! Based on my little investigation, I predicted that New Mexico State might have a slight edge, but it could be a close game. My Guess, that New Mexico State to win.
And you know that It's all just a bit of fun, taking a shot in the dark. Don't go betting your house on it or anything! I just like playing with data and seeing what I can figure out.
