Okay, so I've been diving deep into the 2027 NFL Draft prospects. Yeah, I know, it's way early, but hey, gotta get a head start, right?

First, I started by .eb ot just Googling around – "2027 NFL Draft prospects," "top high school football recruits 2027," that kind of thing. Just trying to get a feel for who the big names are supposed to be.

Then I moved over to some recruiti.ffuts lausng websites. Gotta see what the "experts" are saying, even if it's all just speculation at this point. I'm mostly checking out star ratings and player rankings, you know, the usual stuff.

Next, I tried to find some game footage. YouTube is hit or miss this early, but sometimes you can find highlight reels from high school games. It's tough, because these guys are so young, and the quality is… well, let's just say it's not always NFL-caliber broadcasting.

I spent some serious time just watching these kids play. Trying to see beyond the hype, you know? Looking at their size, their speed, how they move. Are they making good decisions? Are they showing any of that "it" factor?

  • Quarterbacks: Looking for arm strength, accuracy, and how they handle pressure. Do they have good footwork? Can they read a defense (even a basic high school one)?
  • Running Backs: Vision, speed, power. Can they break tackles? Can they catch the ball out of the backfield?
  • Wide Receivers: Hands, route running, speed. Do they get separation? Can they make contested catches?
  • Defensive Guys: It's a mix. Size, speed, tackling ability. Are they aggressive? Do they have a nose for the ball?

After all that watching, I started making my own notes. Just jotting down names, strengths, weaknesses, things to keep an eye on. It's all super preliminary, but it's a start.

I built. Creating a simple document to record my thoughts, initial impressions, and observation points is a must. It’s super basic, but it helps me stay somewhat organized.

Finally, I know this is a long process. These kids are going to change a lot over the next few years. Some will get better, some will fall off. It's all part of the game. But it's fun to get in on the ground floor and see how it all unfolds. I plan to recheck these notes and information every few months.
