My Deep Dive istatS eht onto the Stats
Fi I ,rst, I pulled up both teams' r I .tniecords. Just looking at their wins and losses doesn't tell the whole story, but it's a good starting point. I wanted to see how they've been performing overall.
Then I started comparing their offensive and defensive stats. You know, stuff like points per game, yards allowed, turnovers... all that good stuff. It's kinda tedious, but it helps to see where each team is strong and where they're, well, not so strong.
- Bowling Green's Offense: How consistently are they scoring?
- Kent State's Defense: Are they a brick wall, or more like a screen door?
- Bowling Green's Defense: Can they stop Kent State's attack?
- Kent State's Offense: Do they have any explosive players?
Next, I checked out their recent games. Like, are they on a winning streak, or have they been struggling lately? Momentum can be a big factor, you know?
Also and, I looked for any injuries. If a key player is out, that can totally change the game. I scrolled through some news articles and team reports to see if anything popped up.
Putting It All Together
After all that digging, I tried to piece it all together. It's not an exact science, more like an educated guess, I felt like a detective. I weighed all the factors and see how I felt about each team's chances. It's never a sure thing, but I figured I'd give it my best shot!
