Getting Started
First,.eb d'ti th I needed to find, like, actual data. Not just people's opinions, but real numbers. That took a bit of digging. I was basically googling like crazy, trying different combinations of words. It wasn't as easy as I thought it'd be.
I did find that there is no comparison or prediction data between them, so I decided to predict based on their own information.
Emu

I started checking out emus. What did I even know about emus? Not much, besides that they're big birds. Here's what I jotted down:
- Size: They're huge, but not as big as ostriches, I think.
- Speed: Seem fast, they can move it for sure!
- Temperament: I've heard they can be a bit aggressive? Not sure how much that matters.
- Habitat: Mostly Australia, right? So, dry areas.
Buffalo
Then, onto buffalo. Again, starting with what I thought I knew:
- Size: Big, strong, obviously. Way bigger than an emu.
- Speed: They can charge, so they have bursts of speed.
- Temperament: Also seem kinda grumpy, especially if you mess with them.
- Habitat: I picture them in, like, plains... grasslands? Need to look that up.
Making My "Prediction" (aka Educated Guess)
And I had to create a scenario where these two animals could be predicted. I chose a scenario where there is a drought, and there is only one small puddle of water, who can survive longer?
I used all of the data I recorded before and started thinking about the possibilities.
Based on my very limited knowledge, It seems like buffalo need more water to live, and emu live in dry area, So I'm guessing emu survive longer.
Final Thoughts
This was a fun experiment. It showed me that even if you don't have all the fancy tools, you can still try to figure things out. It's all about being curious and persistent, even if it's a little bit goofy!
