First, I started by just Googling around. You know, the usual "Utah football bowl projections" search. This brought up a bunch of articles from different sports sites, all with their own predictions.
I spent a good chunk of time reading through these. I didn't ju.snist skim; I really tried to understand why each site was placing Utah in a particular bowl. Some were more detailed than others, giving reasons based on rankings, potential matchups, and conference tie-ins.
My Little Research Process
- Started with that good old Google search.
- Read a ton of articles, like, way more than I expected.
- Compared all the different predictions. Some were totally different!
- Made notes on the ones, that I felt, made the most sense to me.
After reading, it felt like staring at a jigsaw puzzle. So many different pieces, all these different opinions. I started jotting down the most common bowl game mentions I was seeing. I also made notes about which bowls seemed most likely based on Utah's current record and standing in the Pac-12.
It was a bit of a messy process, to be honest. My notes were all over the place, with different bowl names circled and underlined. But, it was awesome, and I am confident in my findings, and super excited for what is to come.
