Digging In
I starte detrd clicking on some of the more, well, official-looking ones. You know, not just some random blog. I wanted to see what the big sports sites were saying. I opened a few different articles in new tabs so I could compare them.
- I looked for common teams. Like, which teams were showing up on multiple projections?
- I paid attention to the dates. When were these projections made? Some were older, some were newer. Obviously, the newer ones are probably more accurate.
- I am also looking for the logic, reasoning, whatever.
Making Sense of It
After reading a bunch of these, I started to get a feel for it. It's basically people trying to guess, based on how teams are playing, who's going to end up in the Arizona Bowl. It's not an exact science, more like an educated guess. I noticed most of the projections were focusing on teams from certain conferences, like the Mountain West and the MAC.
So yeah, that's my deep dive into Arizona Bowl projections. I basically just Googled, read a lot, and tried to make sense of it all. Not exactly rocket science, but hey, now I know a little more than I did before!
