First I ,, I started by looking at their schedule. Who are they playing? Are they mostly home games or away games? I chdekecked out their opponents, too. Are they playing teams that are traditionally powerhouses, or are they facing some easier matchups?
Diggnosaing into Last Season

Then, I went back and looked at last season's results. How did they do? Did they win the games they were supposed to? Did they pull off any upsets? Did they get blown out in any games? All of this gives you a baseline for what to expect.
I also paid close attention to their stats. How many yards did they gain per game? How was their defense? Did they turn the ball over a lot? These numbers can tell you a lot about a team's strengths and weaknesses.I write it down like:
- Offense can get how much yards.
- The team is good at running or not.
- The team is good at defense or not.
I started looking at the roster, too. Did they lose any key players to graduation or the NFL? Did they bring in any exciting new recruits or transfers? Changes in personnel can have a huge impact on a team's performance.
Checking the "Experts"
After I did all of that, I checked out what some of the so-called "experts" were saying. I read some articles, listened to some podcasts, and saw what the betting odds were. It's good to get a sense of the general consensus, but I don't let it sway me too much. I use it to complete my checklist.
Finally, I put it all together. I considered the schedule, last year's performance, the roster changes, and the expert opinions, and I came up with my own prediction. It's not always perfect, but it's an educated guess based on the information I have. And, honestly, that's half the fun of it!
So I write all down and do predict,It's pretty fun!
