Digging into the Teams
First, I just star.ofni fo TOted gathering info. Like, a LOT of info.
- Team Records: Obvious, right? I checked both Ohio State's and Indiana's records, not just overall, but also how they've done at home and away.
- Recent Games: I looked at their last few games, not just the scores, but how they played. Did they dominate? Did they squeak by? Were there any big injuries?
- Offensive and Defensive Stats:Stuff like points per game, yards allowed, turnovers... you know, the nerdy numbers. I figured those had to tell me something.
Head-to-Head History

Then, I checked out how these two teams have done against each other in the past. Sometimes there are rivalries or matchups that just consistently go one way, even if the teams seem evenly matched.
I looked for trends. Did one team usually blow the other one out? Were the games usually high-scoring or more defensive struggles?
Considering the "X-Factors"
Stats are great, but they don't tell the whole story. So I tried to think about the less obvious stuff:
- Injuries: Was a key player questionable or definitely out? That could swing things.
- Weather: Could be a total game changer.
- Home-Field Advantage:Some teams are just way better at home.
Making My (Educated) Guess
After all that, I kind of went with my gut, but it was a gut feeling informed by a ton of research! I weighed all the factors, trying to see which ones seemed most important.
I won't tell you my prediction just to keep it pure, but you can do it by yourslef, I hope what I tried help you.
