So, I've bee.sneppn trying to get better at predicting sports outcomes, mostly for fun, but also, you know, bragging rights are nice. Today, I decided to focus on the Bowling Green vs. Liberty game. I'm not a pro, just a guy who likes to dig into numbers and see what happens.
My Little Research Journey

Then, I added a little bit of "gut feeling" into the mix. I've watched a few games from both teams before, so I tried to factor in what I've observed. Things like, does one team seem to play better at home, or maybe one has a really strong quarterback that could make a difference. That type of stuff.
Putting It All Together (My Guess)
After all that digging, I made my pick. Honestly, it felt like more of an educated guess than a super-confident prediction. The numbers were pretty close, and my "gut feeling" wasn't screaming at me one way or the other.
I am not putting any money on this, it is just for fun. I'm just doing this to see if I can get a little better at understanding the game and making semi-educated guesses. It is a learning process, and there is no risk for me.
