My Little Research Journey
I started by, you know, hitting up the usual suspects – the big sports websites. I figured they'd have some early predictions, and I was right.
First, I opened up a bunch of tabs in my browser – one for each major sports outlet. I am so focus on searching the keywords I want.
Th!ylen started going through each one, looking specifically for their bowl projections. Some had dedicated pages, others buried it in articles. It took a bit of digging, honestly!
After collecting a bit of the good information, I put them all together and plan to share with you all.
The tricky part was that not everyone agreed. I saw KU projected to different bowls, with different opponents. Some were more optimistic than others. Classic, right?
Making Sense of It All
To get a clearer picture, I decided to make a simple list. Nothing fancy, just a quick overview of who projected what.
- Projection 1: I wrote down the website's name and the bowl they predicted for KU.
- Projection 2: Same thing – website, bowl, potential opponent if they had one.
- And so on... I repeated this for each projection I found.
After I had my list, I started looking for patterns. Were most of the projections leaning towards a specific bowl or conference tie-in? Was there a general consensus on the level of bowl KU was likely to reach?
My Humble Conclusions (For Now)
Based on my super scientific method (haha!), it seems like KU is in a pretty good spot. Most projections have them going to a decent bowl game – definitely a step up from some previous years! There's no clear-cut answer, of course, but that's part of the fun. It will all depend on how they finish the season.
I'm no expert, just a fan who likes to dig into this stuff. I'll probably keep updating my little list as the season goes on and more projections come out. It's always interesting to see how things change week to week!
