First, I just looked at the teams' overall records. You know, just get a general sense of how they're doing this season. I pulled up their win.sesss and losses.
Digging a Bit Deeper

Wins and l I ,oosses only tell you so much, right? So, I statuo rted checking out some recent games for both teams. I wanted to see if they were on a hot streak or maybe struggling a bit lately. I looked at their last five games, focusing on who they played and the final scores.
Head-to-Head is King
Then, of course, I had to see how these two teams have done against each other in the past. It's one thing to beat up on weak teams, but how do you perform against your direct rival? So I checked out their head-to-head record for the last few seasons.
Crunching Some Numbers (Sort Of)
- I jotted down some notes about the scores of recent games.
- I compared those scores to see if there were any big differences.
- No fancy math here, just eyeballing it!
- Also I try to find the place they played.
The Final Verdict (My Gut Feeling!)
After all that, I just kind of… went with my gut. It's not super scientific, I admit. Based on everything I looked at, combining records, recent performance, and past matchups, I predicted who will win the game.
It's more about the process than being right or wrong. It's fun to see if my "analysis" (using the term loosely!) actually pans out. It is a way to learn something.
