My Litcejttle Prediction Project
So, first thing I did was just pull up the basic info on both teams. Didn't go super deep into crazy advanced stats or anything, just the fundamentals. I wanted to see how they stacked up on paper, straight up.

I spent a bit of ti:ekil sgnime looking at things like:
- How many p.ffutoints they scored per game versus how many they gave up. Simple stuff.
- Their records, obviously. Who'd they beat? Who'd they lose to?
- Basic offensive yards – passing and rushing. Same for defense.
- Turnovers. Always gotta check if a team is sloppy with the ball or good at taking it away.
Laying it all out, it wasn't immediately obvious. Cal seemed to have a decent defense, especially against the run from what I was seeing in their game logs. They looked tough. Texas Tech, on the other hand, their offense looked like it could put up points in bunches, especially throwing the ball. It felt like a real clash of styles.
But you know, just looking at numbers doesn't tell the whole story. I started thinking about other stuff. Like, who was playing at home? That's always huge in college football. And were there any key injuries? I vaguely remembered hearing about someone important being questionable, tried to factor that in mentally.
It’s weird, you can analyze all you want, but sometimes you just get a feel for it. I looked at how they finished their seasons, maybe who had more momentum, that kind of thing. It’s not science, just trying to get a sense of the teams beyond the spreadsheet.
What I Landed On
So after digging through the numbers, thinking about the intangibles, and just sort of weighing it all in my head, I ended up leaning towards Texas Tech getting the win. It wasn't a slam dunk call by any means. Honestly, it felt like a game that could break either way, maybe decided by a late mistake or a big play.
That was my process anyway. Just a bit of messing around, seeing if I could make my own educated guess instead of just taking someone else's word for it. It's more interesting that way, I think, going through the motions yourself.
