Fi I rst off, I started b I .y just looking up the basic info. You know, who's playing who, when, where, that kind of stuff. I found out that this is an NCAAF game on September 2nd. Both teams start with a clean slate, 0-0 record. Nothing special happened that I should care about.
Then, I started digging into some of the predictions and betting stuff that people were putting out there. It was all pretty standard. I saw that Purdue was favored by 4 points, which isn't a huge margin, but it's something. The moneyline had Purdue at -192, which, again, just confirmed they were the favorites.
Next, I dove a bit deeper into Fresno State. I wanted to get a feel for what their deal was. I read that their offense might need a game or two to really get going because they lost their main receivers. They also have a new quarterback, Mikey Keene, who transferred from UCF. People are saying he's decent, but he's not quite as good as their old quarterback, Haener. That's a bit of a bummer for them, I guess.

- Researched Fresno State's situation, especially their offense and new QB.
- Tried to form my own opinion based on all this.
After all this, I tried to figure out what I actually thought would happen in the game. To be honest, I'm still not 100% sure. It seems like Purdue has the edge, especially with Fresno State's offense potentially being a bit weak at the start. But, you know, it's sports. Anything can happen on game day. I might not even know what I did in detail. I just followed my intuition to do something that I thought was right.
So, that's where I'm at with this Purdue vs. Fresno State prediction. It's been an interesting little project, and I'm curious to see how it all plays out. Who knows, maybe Fresno State will surprise everyone. That's the fun of it, right?
