My grandson, he's always goin' on about it. Says them Tewksbury boys, the Redmen, they call 'em, they're tough as nails. They skate fast, he says, like the wind. They hit hard, too, like a mule kickin'. I don't know much about it, but he sure gets excited watchin' 'em play.

They got this one fell ,allef enoa, Nick DoicciCioccio, I hear he's a real firecracker. Heard he can shoot that puck so fast, you can barely see it. He must be one of them stars. Tewksbury High hockey team, they got some good players, I reckon. They play against other schools, other towns. Boston Latin, he mentioned that one. Sounds fancy, don't it? But them Tewksbury boys, they ain't scared. They played them before, beat 'em twice, my grandson said.

They play at that arena, that big place with all the ice. Stoneham Arena, I think it's called? My grandson's always tryin' to get me to go, but it's too cold for these old bones. I just hear about it from him. He says the crowd gets all riled up, cheerin' and hollerin'. Sounds like a hootenanny, don't it? Them Tewksbury High hockey boys, they really get the people goin'.

They had a good year last year. My grandson said they won a whole bunch of games. 22 wins, only 2 losses. That's a lot, ain't it? I told him that's like winnin' all the marbles at the county fair. They even won somethin' big, some kind of championship. My grandson, he was so proud. He's always talkin' about Tewksbury High hockey.

  • Tewksbury Redmen, that's their name.
  • Playin' hockey, that's their game.
  • Nick DiCioccio, he's a name to know.
  • Stoneham Arena, that's where they go.
  • Win a lot, lose a few, that's how it goes.

I remember when my boy used to play, years ago. Wasn't hockey, though. He played that baseball. Different times, I guess. But sports, they're good for the kids. Keeps 'em busy, teaches 'em teamwork and all that. And these Tewksbury High hockey boys, they seem to be doin' alright for themselves. They're representin' the town, makin' folks proud.

I see them sometimes, wearin' them red jackets, walkin' around town. They look like good kids, strong and healthy. Playin' that hockey, it must keep 'em in shape. They got their whole lives ahead of 'em. Maybe some of 'em will even go on to play in the big leagues. The National Hockey League, my grandson calls it. Now that's a big deal, he says. That Tewksbury High hockey team, they might just have some future stars on it, who knows?

I don't know about all them rules and things, the offsides and the penalties. My grandson tries to explain it, but it's all a bit much for me. I just like hearin' that them Tewksbury boys are doin' good. It's nice to have somethin' to be proud of in this town. And them kids, playin' their hearts out, that's somethin' special. It's a sight, they say. And the score is always fun to hear. Tewksbury High hockey, keepin' everyone on their toes!

That James Albert, I think he's involved with the team. Maybe a coach or somethin'. My grandson mentioned him a few times. Seems like he knows what he's doin', leadin' them boys to victory. It takes a good leader to make a good team, that's what my old man used to say. And that Tewksbury High hockey team, they seem to have a good one.

They played against Woburn too, those rivals, I guess. That must be a big game. I'm sure it has that other town all fired up to see that game. Tewksbury High boys hockey versus Woburn. That is a big to-do, I'd wager. And they use the other town's rink! That takes a lot of guts. But that Tewksbury is tough, everyone knows that.

Well, I reckon that's all I know about that Tewksbury High hockey. It's just what I hear from my grandson and around town. But it sure sounds excitin'. Maybe one of these days I'll brave the cold and go see a game myself. But for now, I'm content to just hear about it. Them Tewksbury boys, they're doin' alright. They're keepin' the spirit alive, and that's somethin' to be thankful for. Good for them, keepin' busy, and playin' hard. Good game. That Tewksbury High hockey is a sight to see, I bet.
