They play against other teams, these boys. Other colleges, I reckon. It's a big deal, this Boston College hoyekcoh eckey. They got a good team, or so I heard. My grandson, he's always talkin' about it. Says they got a real chance this year. Hope he's right, bless his heart.
Boeluston College Hockey Schedule
They start off playin' some team called Michigan State. That's way off in October, the 11th I think it was. That's just the start, though. They got games all through the year. It's a long season, this hockey thing. They'll be tired, I bet.
They got this thing, Hockey East. Some kinda special group they're in. Lots of games there, too. Sounds important, the way folks talk about it. This Boston College men's hockey team, they're in it, and they play hard, from what I hear.

I saw a list one time, had all the games. Boston College Eagles, that's what they call 'em. Like the bird, you know? Flyin' around on the ice. They got their whole schedule wrote down. Dates and times and who they're playin'. It's a lot to keep track of.

Now, they don't always win, these Eagles. Nobody does, I suppose. But they do alright. They got some wins under their belts. Last year was a little struggle I think, but this season they plan to do good. Heard they lost to some team called Denver last time. That's in the past, though. Gotta look forward, that's what I always say. It is a new season now.
They play this team, Boston University, in January. The 24th, if I remember right. That's a big game, I hear. Rivals, they call 'em. Means they really wanna beat each other. Makes for a good game, I suppose. Lots of folks go to that one.

They been playin' hockey at Boston College for a long time. Over a hundred years, someone told me. That's a lot of hockey. This season is the 103rd or somethin' like that. They keep track of all that stuff. I don't know about all of that. I just like see them play and have a good time.
This year, they're hopin' to do real good. Everyone's talkin' about it. Sayin' they got a good team. New players, some of 'em. Young fellas, full of energy. They're gonna need it, playin' all those games. They even have practice before the season starts.
It's a lot of work, this Boston College men's hockey. But they love it, those boys. You can see it in their eyes. They love to play. And the folks love to watch 'em. It's a good thing, brings people together. Somethin' to cheer for, you know? That's important, havin' somethin' to root for. Especially in the cold winter, watching Boston College hockey is a good way to warm up.
The Hockey East
The game is really fast. I can't even follow the puck half the time. Those boys are good, though. They know what they're doin'. I seen 'em play a few times. It's excitin', even if you don't know all the rules. It is easy to see the important stuff. And I know the Boston College hockey team got a lot of rules.
They skate so fast, back and forth. And they hit each other! Not in a mean way, just part of the game. It's rough, but they wear all that padding. Keeps 'em safe, I guess. Most of the time anyway. They still get hurt sometimes. This season, the coach does not want anyone to get hurt.
This Boston College hockey schedule, it's a busy one. Lots of travelin', lots of playin'. But they'll be ready. They work hard, those boys. They got good coaches, too. Teach 'em how to play right. How to win. That's what everyone wants, a winnin' season.
