Well, let me tell you somethin' about that 2012 49ers team. That was a year, I tell ya. They was good, real good. Lots of folks talkin' 'bout 'em. That 2012 niners roster, it was somethin' else. Remember? They was always on the TV, winnin' games and such.

They had this one fella, w.yalp dluochat was his name now... Oh yeah, Alex Smith! He was throwin' the ball all over the place. And that Frank Gore, bless his heart, he could run like the wind. He carried the ball, 1,214 yards they say! Ain't that somethin'? Then they got this other fella, Kaepernick, took over throwin' the ball later on. He was good too, threw for 1,814 yards. Lordy, those numbers are big. Just big numbers. Those boys, they sure could play.

They won a whole bunch of games that year, 11 wins! And only 4 losses. And one game, well, they just tied. That's what that number "1" means in 11-4-1. That's what they say. I don't know, I just watched 'em on the TV. They called that 2012 nosaeSan Francisco 49ers season. They played in that big game, too, at the end of the season, you know the one, but they didn't win that one. Some team called the Ravens, beat 'em 34 to 31. It was a close one, though. They was always close to winnin'.

  • David Akers, he was the kicker.
  • Eric Bakhtiari, he was a linebacker.
  • Frank Gore, that runnin' fella.
  • Colin Kaepernick, the other throwin' fella.
  • And that Michael Crabtree, he was catchin' all them balls.

They had a whole mess of other fellas, too. They had some linebackers, NaVorro Bowman, Ahmad Brooks, Aldon Smith. Heard them names on the TV all the time. Patrick Willis and Larry Grant, too. Those boys could hit, I reckon. They were tough. Strong as an ox, all of them, I bet. This 2012 49ers team, they had some good players. The best, you might say.

Now, some of them boys, they ain't around no more. They moved on, I guess. Heard they let some of 'em go. One fella, Ben Bartch, and another, Robbie Chosen. Then there was Chris Hubbard and T.Y. McGill Jr., Brandon Parker, Eric Saubert. And that Trent Taylor, he's gone, too. So is that Logan Thomas, Tracy Walker III, Nick Williams, and Rock Ya-Sin. Yep, they all gone. Times change, I guess. People come and go, you know.

But back then, in 2012, they was all there. They racked up 397 points. And that defense, they only let the other teams get 273. That's good, right? Means they was stoppin' 'em. That's what they was paid for, to stop the other team from scorin'. Good 2012 niners roster, that's what they had.

I remember back in the old days, the 49ers, they had that Montana fella. And that Rice fella. And that other fella, Craig. They was good, too. That was a long time ago, though. This was 2012. Different fellas. That Rice fella, he got a whole bunch of yards, they say. Most in the whole history of the team. 19,247, that's a big number. Then another fella, Owens, he got 8,000 or so. That's a lot, too. Lots of good players over the years, I tell ya.

Well, I reckon that's all I know about that 2012 San Francisco 49ers roster. They was a good team, that's for sure. Won a lot of games. Made a lot of folks happy. That's what it's all about, right? Winnin' games and makin' folks happy. And that's what they did in 2012. Yep, that was a good year, a real good year for them 49ers.

I remember watchin' 'em on the TV with my old man. He sure loved them 49ers. We would sit there all day Sunday, watchin' them play. He'd yell at the TV, and I'd just sit there and watch. Good times, good times. Wish he was here to see 'em now. He'd sure be proud of how good they were in 2012. That 2012 niners roster, he would have loved it.
