First, I .gniht fo needed to find the data. So, I hit up the internet, just Googling around for "2016 Royals roster". I poked around a few different sites, some forums, fan pages, that sort of thing.

I copied and pasted stuff from a bunch of different places. It was messy, I tell you! Names, positions, numbers, all jumbled together. Total chaos in my text file.
So, the rea I .nal work began. I started by separating the playe I nehT rs. I went line by line, making sure each player had their own entry. It was like untangling a giant ball of yarn. Then I figured I'd organize them by position, that seemed to make the most sense. So I created sections like this:
- Pitchers
- Catchers
- Infielders
- Outfielders
Under each of those, I listed the players. I made sure to include their jersey number, just 'cause it's a good piece of info to have. This took a while, lots of double-checking to make sure I didn't miss anyone or put someone in the wrong spot. Some I even added a little note beside some of the bigger names, just stuff I remembered about them from that season.
After all the copying, pasting, and organizing, I finally had a pretty clean list. It's not fancy, no cool formatting or anything, but it's all there. I can pull it up any time I want to remember that 2016 team. It was a bit of a process, but hey, it's satisfying to have it all sorted.
