First, I started by gathering some data. Honestly, I just went to a few sports websites—you know, the usual ones—and looked at recent I .sma game results for both teams. I jotted down their wins and losses, who they played against, and the final scores. Just trying to get a general feel for how both teams are performing.
Then, I tried to see if there were any obvious patterns. Like, does one team consistently score more goals at home? Do they tend to struggle against certain opponents? I'm no stats expert, so I'm just looking for anything that jumps out at me.
- Stars recent performance.
- Capitals recent performance.
- Head-to-Head record.

I also checked for any news about player injuries or anything that might affect the game. A star player being out could definitely change things, right?
My Simple Prediction Process
After get all data, then put them together.I use Excel to orgnize the data,It very convenient.
Next, I kinda just… went with my gut. Based on what I saw, I tried to weigh the different factors. Recent performance, home-ice advantage, any missing players… all that stuff. I combined all my observations and my initial thought.
Finally, I made my prediction! It's not super scientific, I admit. It's more of an educated guess based on the information I could find. I wrote down my predicted winner and even a possible score, just for fun.
It was a cool little exercise. Whether I'm right or wrong, it was interesting to go through the process and see how much I could figure out just by looking at some basic data.I think I will do it next game.
