I decided to keep it super simple. No complex algorithms or anything. I basically just looked at the past few games for each team. I figured if a team was on a winning streak, they were probably more likely to win their next game. Common sense, right?
- Checked recent game scores.
- Noted win/loss streaks.
- Compared the two teams playing each other.
I started making my predictions, just for fun. Like, "Team A has won their last three games, Team B has lost their last two, so I'm guessing Team A will win." Super basic, I know.
Did It Work?
Well, sometimes! I definitely didn't get them all right, not even close. But I did get a few correct, which was pretty cool. It was more like an educated guess than a real prediction, I guess. And I learned, that lacrosse, like a lot of sports, is pretty unpredictable, even there's obvious data to get insights from.
Honestly, it was more about having fun and getting more involved in the games. It made watching them even more exciting, because I had a little something riding on it (even if it was just bragging rights with myself).
I wouldn't recommend using my "method" for any serious betting or anything. But if you're just looking to have some fun and make some guesses, it's a decent way to get started!
