It's kind of a fun little exercise, though. Keeps you engaged with the whole conference picture, not just BYU's games. You start looking at other matchups thinking, "Hmm, if that team loses, maybe BYU slides up a spot for this bowl."
So, after poking around for an hour or so, did I come away with a definitive answer? Nah, not really. It's still mostly guesswork at this point. But it was interesting to see the range of possibilities people are throwing out there.
