First, I stadetrted looking around online. I figured the team I .thgi's website would have the information, and I was right. I found a whole page with the 2017 roster. It had everyone listed, from the star quarterback to the guys who mostly practiced. It wass really neat to see.

Then, I decided to make my own list. I could have just copied and pasted, but I wanted to type it all out myself. It felt more personal that way. So, I opened up a new document and started adding each player, one by one.
- Name
- Position
- Year (like, if they were a Freshman, Sophomore, etc.)
- Height
- Weight
- Hometown
- Last School they played for
The Long Part
This took a while! There are a lot of guys on a football team. I carefully typed each name, making sure I didn't make any typos. I double-checked the positions and made notes about which guys were new to the team (Freshmen) and which ones were older (like Juniors or Seniors).
One of the players I added was named Christopher Allen, he played as a Linebacker. He was tall, 6-foot-4, and weighed 239 pounds. He was from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and his last school was Southern Lab School.
I also found a player named Giles Amos, he was a Tight End. He was also pretty tall, 6-foot-4, and weighed 242 pounds. He was from a place called Perry.
Then, there was Jalen Hurts. He played quarterback. I also made sure to grab his stats: 154 completions, 255 attempts, and 2081 yards. Pretty good, right?
Finally Done!
After I added everyone, I saved my list. It was cool to see it all finished. I felt a sense of accomplishment. Now I have my own personal record of the 2017 Alabama Crimson Tide football team. Maybe I'll do this every year! It's a fun way to keep track of the players and feel more connected to the team.
